Asus Eee PC 1201PN Netbook

ASUS have added Netbook to their Eee PC range with the new Eee PC 1201PN. Asus Eee PC 1201PN Netbook is powered by Intel’s Atom N450 1.66GHz processor and NVIDIA second generation ION chipset.

Asus Eee PC 1201PN Netbook features a 12.1 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels. There is 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, plus you get access to 500GB of online storage from Asus.

The Asus Eee PC 1201PN comes with 802.11b.g.n WiFi plus Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and it features a six cell battery, plus a couple of USB 2.0 ports, a memory card reader, HDMI and audio in and out.

The Asus Eee PC 1201PN is capable of playing back full HD video on your HDTV or compatible HD monitor via the built in HDMI port. It will come with Microsoft Windows XP, there are no details as yet on pricing or availability.

Asus Eee PC 1201N Laptop

Asus has announced a new 12-inch Eee PC 1201N netbook powered by Nvidia ION graphics and dual-core Intel Atom processor. Asus Eee PC 1201N netbook will come pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home premium and would be available in black and white colour options.

Asus Eee PC 1201N Laptop will have have a 12.1-inch 1366 x 768 display, running on Intel Atom N330 dual core CPU, GeForce 9400M (ION Graphics), 3GB of DDR2 RAM, 320GB hard drive. It also has 802.11n WiFi, webcam, and a high capacity 6-cell 5200mAh battery, which should last for upto 8 hours.

The Asus 1201N is also the first Eee PC to feature Ion graphics, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

Asus Eee PC 1201N Laptop is expected to launch in the U.S shortly, with a price tag of US $499. Continue reading »
