Yamaha’s most awaited bike of the year, the new Yamaha R15 is expected to be launched by July 2011. Newly design Yamaha R15 is said to borrow some designs of its own sibling sporty bike Yamaha R6.
The New 2011 Yamaha R15 is powered by 150cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Petrol engine which will provide a maximum power of around 17 Bhp @ 8500 rpm and 15 Nm @ 7500 rpm of maximum torque will be produced.
Yamaha R15 is expected to give a mileage of 32 kmpl in the city and around 43 kmpl in the highways.
