Acer has officially launched it new Acer Iconia Tab A500 Honeycomb Tablet. The new Acer Iconia Tab A500 will be available in the US from the 24th of April and it will come with Google’s tablet version of Android, Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

Acer Iconia Tab A500 sports a 10.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and it is powered by a dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and it comes with 16GB of storage built in plus a microSD card slot.

Acer Iconia Tab A500 Other features are a 5 megapixel camera on the back, and a 2 megapixel camera on the front for video chat, there is also HDMI, and Dolby Mobile technology.

Asus Eee PC 1201PN Netbook

ASUS have added Netbook to their Eee PC range with the new Eee PC 1201PN. Asus Eee PC 1201PN Netbook is powered by Intel’s Atom N450 1.66GHz processor and NVIDIA second generation ION chipset.

Asus Eee PC 1201PN Netbook features a 12.1 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels. There is 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, plus you get access to 500GB of online storage from Asus.

The Asus Eee PC 1201PN comes with 802.11b.g.n WiFi plus Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and it features a six cell battery, plus a couple of USB 2.0 ports, a memory card reader, HDMI and audio in and out.

The Asus Eee PC 1201PN is capable of playing back full HD video on your HDTV or compatible HD monitor via the built in HDMI port. It will come with Microsoft Windows XP, there are no details as yet on pricing or availability.
